Al Fenton Big Band Puts the Moves on M.S.!

Updated: Mar 23, 2019

Three years ago my daughter was diagnosed with M.S. Jen was only 20, a college student at Husson University as a Physical Therapy Major and a member of Husson's Field Hockey team when she was diagnosed with MS. It was at this time that I learned this disease has no cure. As a mother this was a very helpless feeling - Questions such as "How can I help my daughter? How can I fix this? came over me. This is when I realized that we need to raise money to find that cure! When I approached this band and asked for their help they responded with a unanimous "yes!" The Al Fenton Big Band donates their talent every year for this great cause! I am so proud to say that this is our 3rd Annual Connecticut M.S. Society Gala! I am so excited to announce that this year we have a very special guest speaker, Stephen J. Crocker, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Dept. of Neuroscience from UConn Health.

Dr. Crocker will be speaking on behalf of the research end of this disease and sharing with all of us his hope for the future. This year's gala will be held at Farmington Club, in Farmington. #MS #dream #gala #Farmingtonclub #Dance #NationalSocietyofMSCTChapter #music #love
